Chris Bailey. Criminally underrated for almost 50 years & now gone. So important & yet so neglected. The penalty for being Australian rather than American or British. Too far removed from the scenes. But, as should always be the case, the music speaks for itself. This was always my favourite.

I appreciate that this in bad taste but I’ve heard some speculation from people I know in the RAF that the Queen isn’t going to be able to attend any of the jubilee celebrations for health reasons and she’s quite unwell.

They’re not rehearsing or getting ready for the parades and general jubilee carry on apparently and that’s really unusual according to my mate.
