I guess we've signed him on loan, with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer - and that's because Sunderland have 'knocked back' our plans to sign Waggie permanently. Although Vaughan is a bit taller, he's a similar style player to Waghorn - and Moyes' is probably keener to off load him...

Completely agree with you. We desperately need a (first choice) right back to replace Neilson and a (reserve) left back as cover for Bruno - McGivern clearly can't fill that role (perhaps he'd make a decent centre back). I also think we really need a decent creative midfielder - Oakley, King...
