We are in a cycle and it's not doing us any good IMO
We can't do feck all anyway. MM is his own man.

I don't know what you mean by"We are in a cycle" - what has surprised me is how long we have been at the wrong (unsuccessful) end of a cycle. My experience over many years is that we have in the past generally come out of the bad times a bit quicker than this. I do appreciate however that chopping and changing managers probably hasn't helped. Unfortunately, we have had a run of unconvinving managers. Perhaps Holloway will prove us doubters wrong. Who knows?

I think you are right about MM though. Unless he is changing character with old age, he could part with a manager for all manner of reasons if so minded.

We have been out of the Premier League for four seasons; inevitably there will be a fifth. In your lifetime the period that we spent at second level immediately before our Premier League debut stretched for seven seasons.

Leicester City are a yo-yo team - if you want to enjoy the yo, you've got to put up with a bit of yo.

Yes, I can agree with you that promotion this season is looking a bit doubtful.

I haven't researched the matter - but my impression is that we were not so badly becalmed in the early 90's.

Western goes back about a further 10 years than me and he will recall that in the immediate post war period we were stuck in the old second division but of course this period was enlivened by the 1949 FA cup run (when this was a very serious competition -rather than the sideshow it is now) and we were then promoted at least a couple of times in the 50's.

We are generally a yo-yo club; the problem is that we have stopped yoing.

in terms of management personnel - not as a club's results.

If you employ a manager with little experience, you should get some 'unconvincing' performances along the way, they are bound to make mistakes. Hence it's time we stuck with someone and gave that way a try. Although I'd be rather pissed off if we were League One next because of it.

Bit like a menstrual cycle I suppose. Quarter of the time things flow freely for us and the other three quarters they, er, don't.

Coat got, outta here....................

He was screaming like mad at the officials when the second goal went in. Guess who the cnut's gonna blame :icon_roll

Agree Biff, he needs to go now. He's out of his depth, seems unable to accept personal responsibilty, can't accept criticism and IMO we only win when the players motivate themselves. He appears to be too arrogant to realise he's the problem.

As of today, I want him gone.

He wasn't the problem at WBA.
