My colleague asked to come into work half an hour late yesterday because of a harvest festival, then discovered it didn't start until about 10.30 and lasted for hours - so most of the parents began wandering off part of the way through and the kids were getting bored and restless. I wonder if it was at the same Catholic primary school?

I am getting increasingly pissed off with people staring at me. This last couple of days it's been unreal. I guess I've been quite fortunate in that I haven't lost all my hair yet, due to the chemo, but just lately it has started to get really thin on top and I have a bit of a bald spot. I could maybe understand if people stared at that, but I've been wearing a bandana. It's plain black and I don't think that it looks that out of the ordinary.
Maybe they think I'm a pirate :icon_wink

Also noticed a few folk avoiding me - I'm not a bleedin' leper :icon_cry:

to be honest MG i would probably stare too its only natural but the other hand i would also get paranoid if people stared at me too (apart from when its the ladys thinking my my he cuts a fine figure )

Not too bad, thanks. I have my moments. Almost at the halfway stage, treatment-wise. I then have a scan to see how the treatment's doing, which will be a big milestone for me.
