Nailed on certainty that Owen will be injured before he gets chance to play for them - not a chance he'd survive a training session with them 'thugs'.
 
If he does start scoring, assists from Crouch, how long before people will be calling for a recall to the England squad for both
 
It isa strange one. His first contract was for five years I think.

It must help with getting a feeling of stability around the club as the players should feel that the manager isn't so dispensable. if they know he's around for the foreseeable they are more likely to stay on board.

Maybe other clubs should follow suit?

Spurs beat Man Utd at Old Trafford for the first time since 1989. Good game! I managed to miss all of the goals though. oof.

I've just got back from the game. I've got a few contacts who are based up there so went to the match through them. First half Utd were very poor but Rooney coming on changed the whole match. It was an interesting game with a decent atmosphere so a decent day out.

according to todays Evening Standard one was called a monkey the other a spanish twat
 
Perhaps he mistakenly called Torres a 'striker'.
