Martin Allen, good, bad or indifferent, and Leicester are history, time to move on, only time will tell if M&M has made the right choice in hiring Megson, he's the Manager, get behind him and the team. I have no doubt that if Megson doesn't get the results M&M and us crave, he will go the same way as Allen. M&M doesn't look kindly on failure, and he, whether we like it or not is the judge and jury. So the whiners pack it in, point you noses forwards not backwards.

Or Milan without knowing the facts?:102::102:

I didn't hear anyone chanting the name of MM last night or on Saturday, he still has to earn our support after sacking MA. I just think the statement he has made is correct.

If you chanted for MA then surely you shouldn't be celebrating the winning goal, or is that allowed?

Although I have no truck with chanting M.A's name, in mitigation you have to say how else can they voice their opinions??? Write to the club..........write to the mockery,
which will achieve the same result ... a one second look then dustbined straight the way, say something on R.L. and you're drowned out by Barber and Birchinall.

Now if and I say if M.M. were to stand amongst these fans
and get opinions or arguements if nescessary, then it could placate the situation instead of inflaming it by writing that piece in the Mercury.

There is a mistake as in the quote is says villa won on penalties, no they didn't.

Did anyone see the young boy getting pulled down the stairs by about 5 police officers, he was giving them a good go. He nearly got away.

If he was one of those Drew mentioned who were racially abusing one of F*rests black players I hope they gave him a good kicking outside.

There's optimism for you.

I 100% agree with MM on this one.

And from what i could see and hear it wasn't a minority of fans.

TWATS!!!

The facts are we are stuick with MM and actually are definitely far better off financially (currently) with him, and his vision is one I share.

End of, end of, end of.....

I agree with that, but I think it's not good sense for Milan to rage against a section of fans who are being silly.Allen has gone; I don't think he was that good an appointment anyway; I also think Megson is possibly a worse prospect but it is Milan's money and he calls the shots. I just don't think he needs to lower himself to the level of berating those fans....a couple of wins and they would be onboard anyway.

Just found out what happened.

A steward had asked them to sit down once, they didn't and the steward (I think the woman who was mentioned before) seemed to not be that arsed and left them. They kept abusing her and then the lad in black chucked a coin at her. The woman in the row in front told them to stop, they told her to **** off and then her son (?) and his mates told em to pack it in, *relatively* politely. The kid in black just lost it and went mad, threatening all of them - veins popping out of neck, red face, real angry (there were a few of them too, all much bigger than him and the girl) - when the police came up for another reason he just started abusing them, they asked him to leave and he seemd to want to fight them.

I know people were shouting scum at the police, but they seriously deserved to get ejected - needlessly aggressive to their own fans who asked them to stop chucking coins at a steward. fair enough I say. Some people are just nob- heads.

Wow, no grey area on this one is there?

MM should stand for Marmite Man. You either love him or loathe him.

Personally, I don't support MM, GM, MA2, or Ol' Mother Riley if she became manager. I am a leicester City fan, and, as such I will give my full backing to whoever is in the hotseat.

If MM makes a tidy profit out of our club, let him. It should mean we are in a better league position than we are now.

What I can't understand, is this hero figure worshipping for MA2.
Yes, he did appear as a breath of fresh air compared to what we have had over the last few years, yes there did seem to be a bit more team spirit about the place, and yes, when he went I was a bit dismayed , but now he has gone.
So as the saying goes "Get over it!"

I am certain that it was a minority of fans and I am equally as certain that a greater numbrt of fans either shouted for them to shut up - and I am not counting those that just shook their heads and said FFS to themselves.

I wonder though how many of those who did chant for MA2 were in a state of confusion on account of the rumour that was circulating that Megson had quit. Yes, we know he hadn't but there was a significant number of people at the ground who thought that he had.

Utter drivel

The brave new world of the modern football LCFC fan consists of:

The ritual booing of Jordan Stewart,

That reminded me of the Stoke Game where the abuse he got was digusting. you could actually see any confidence he had drain out of him, and he got worse and worse the more vocal the abuse got.

I was quite ashamed that night of the so called fans near me who joined in.(and it takes a lot for me to be ashamed of being a Leicester fan)

:icon_eek:

What's sad is that people didn't actual dismiss it out of hand because it would have been totally in keeping with this club at the moment!

with their IQ's I would have thought they are in a constant state of confusion.

The lads behind me were chanting for MA:icon_roll

I said quite loudly what good would chanting that do anyone.

As for MMs statement, I can understand him being annoyed at the chants I was, cos MA is no longer part of the club, there's feck all chance of him coming back and chanting that so loudly didn't help Megson or the players(even if we were playing absolute shite at the time!). At a time when we should've been fully behind the team ALL match, I was disappointed to hear those chants, because they weren't in support of anyone connected to the club.

Saying that though, he might've worded a bit differently, saying people aren't fans because of some chanting etc isn't going to put him in a better light to that section of the supporters.

Doesn't matter how much blame lay at whose feet for MA's departure, he's gone. And all the rumour-mongering about who did what/said what isn't douing anything get the club back on track.

Just found out what happened.

Not sure where you got that quote but that was exctly what happened. The lad who was originally chucked out threatened to kill 2 of the asian lads in front at least 20 times. Im not sure if was going to actually attempt it that many times or not. He was chucked out but should have gone much earlier. His mate looked like a girl and wouldnt let go, was quite amusing once the fuzz turned up!! The shouts of scum were totally unnecessary.
