I like Beckford. I hope he stays. I also don't think he was that bad on Sat. He's capable of being our best player.
He took his chances well, and his through ball to Vardy was exquisite. He was brilliant.
I'm confuzzled.
Did you miss the game then as there hadn't been a performance like it since some dick of a manager sacked Benjee off - truely remarkable!

Voice of reason. Lots of people on this forum calling for the board to give Pearson a chance, but one player doesn't play so well and it's get him out. I don't think beckford has shown anywhere near his best yet- but he scored 14 goals last season.. And that's only one less than our top scorer. Does what competition those goals were in mean they were any worse? How many were against lower league opposition?I think we should keep him though. It's obvious he isn't playing anywhere near his best at the moment but it's about time we got the best from a player rather than selling them on to a rival at a massive loss only to go on to be a much better success there.

Not many are saying "Get him out" just he should be doing better. Similar to the backlash against Pearson after we lost two league games and then the cup shocker. Only one or two were say "Get Pearson out". Hopefully both will stay and prosper.
This is why he is a great player.
[h=1]Fox hunt: Redknapp emerges as shock target for Leicester[/h]By Alan Nixon | 8 Sep 2012 23:00This story appears in Sunday's The People newspaper.
Harry Redknapp is a shock target for Leicester if boss Nigel Pearson does not keep the Foxes in the promotion frame.
Redknapp – sacked by Tottenham in June– has already been linked with Ipswich, where Paul Jewell is under pressure.
Leicester’s Thai owners are desperate for a return on their investment and Pearson’s position was looking precarious before his side beat high-flying Blackpool last weekend.
They are currently 10th in the Championship and will turn to Redknapp if their Premier League hopes falter, with Leeds chief and promotion specialist Neil Warnock as another possible option.
Redknapp would need a massive pay day to join a club he turned down a decade ago. He has been helping out at Bournemouth but has hinted he would up for challenge if the finances were in place.

This is a good'un
