Speculation Roy Hodgson Approached for England job.

Re: Roy Hodgson Approched for England job. I don't see a major problem with this. Hodgson knows international football and has worked around Europe, so in that respect he's a better choice than Redknapp. Redknapp is a pretty average manager, so we haven't missed out on a Brian Clough again...

Winding up old Colin is a positive from the season.

Post Match Leeds 1 Leicester 2

It's good to end with a win. We've finished a place higher with fewer points than last season. The sixth placed team finished with 75 points again, so we're still three wins away from the top six. Long summer ahead with much change required.

Post Match Leicester 1 West Ham 2

One bit of quality in a dreadful 90 minutes. We should cancel the last match as an apology for the previous three.

Match Thread Leicester v West Ham

The midfield needs to get a grip on the game. Too often West Ham have moved up the pitch far too easily, and the service into Beckford has been non-existant (into feet anyway, the cross was excellent). West Ham are a better side than us obviously but they don't need the help we're offering. We...

Post Match Ipswich Town 1 - 2 Leicester City

Very much a game of two contrasting halves. Outplayed in the first, we did very well to get in level, and that goal, plus two good substitutions, changed things and we were much improved after half-time, seeing out the match comfortably. The season is not quite done yet (how many would've said...

Post Match Leicester 4 Doncaster 0

Just to elaborate on my previous post- we've had a few 4-0 wins in recent seasons and each had more fluency and control about them. Yesterday, for most of the match, we weren't particularly inspiring. We will have better performances than that, but right now we need the points and it has...

Post Match Leicester 4 Doncaster 0

The worst 4-0 win I've seen. We were flat for the majority, our superior finishing and professional goalkeeper was the difference. Gave away too many chances for my liking against the bottom side. Still, the result is the most important and we have to back it up.

    Pre Match Leicester v Doncaster

I expect a response after the shambolic defeat at Doncaster before Christmas. Possibly our worst performance of the season.

Should he stay or should he go?

He shouldn't go, I've not been overly impressed since he returned but he wasn't brought in just for 30 games or so and should be given a chance to overhaul the squad.

Post Match Peterborough 1 Leicester 0

We are game-raisers, pure and simple. Contrast our form against the top nine teams to the bottom nine. It shows exatly where the problem lies. It's not about ability alone, a lot of it is to do with mentality. We had a good percentage of the ball and crosses swung into the box, yet we didn't...

    Pre Match Peterborough v Leicester

Re: Leicester v Peterborough Peterborough are always dangerous on their day, and we've struggled away in recent games. Should be an open match and if we're at our best we'll claim the points.
  15. I

Pre Match Leicester v Nottingham Forest

It's a crap excuse. Leeds and West Ham would bring far more than Forest on a weeknight, very poor from the supposed famous club. We don't care too much for Peterborough yet we'll take plenty on Saturday.

Post Match Leicester 2 Hull 1

The crowd played a great part in the final 30 minutes. Saw us pretty comfortably over the line. Beckford and Dyer were superb out there.

    Pre Match Leicester v Hull

We could move Marshall into the middle, put Nugent on the wing with Dyer on the other. Hopefully one CM at least will be fit.

    Pre Match Blackpool (A)

We've had the better of Holloway since he left us (three wins out of three), a fourth is imperative if we are to challenge for the top six.

Post Match Chelsea 5 Leicester 2

And Chelsea have a novel way of getting people to sit down during the game- build a roof to block the pitch for people in the back row!

Post Match Chelsea 5 Leicester 2

I'm pleased we gave it a go, having tried to bore the nation in our last quarter-final at Blackburn. Real mixture of shocking defending but threatening attacking, Beckford looked sharp and Nugent ran the left channel well. Marshall's goal was a beauty.

    Was Megson full-time manager here?

Megson for Bolton! I certainly joined in that chant. Saw four home games of desperately dire football, with two goals and about five shots.

They aren't boring anymore, as they sang to us during their struggle to see off our ten men. 32 goals scored this season, Barcelona look on in envy.

    Post Match Leicester 2-0 Coventry

As they haven't played Villa since 2001, I'd assume we're the biggest match of the season, even if we aren't the biggest rivals.

    Post Match Leicester 2-0 Coventry

Why anyone would bother following Coventry away from home is beyond me, 3 points from 17 games and again, like years ago, they fail to turn up for the biggest match of their season. Comfortable win that should've been greater.

    Big Game Charlies?

It certainly does. Though today brought a lot of joy, it just underlines the frustration the fans feel when they see below-par performances on an all-too-frequent basis.

Post Match Watford 3 Leicester 2

Win, draw, defeat, win, defeat. That's the last five league games. Not bad enough to put us near the bottom, not good enough to get us near the top. Sad to say but the league season is done with plenty to spare.
