Because when someone has a head start on you you can't just catch them up. That will have come about due to an error between him or Dublin in the build up, thus them being able to get in behind. If he was to race their strikers today (Junior and Butler) starting level and facing the same way...

You may have deeped his performance as a bad one, which most people have to be fair :P But he certainly is not slow. He is the fastest centre half at our club and one of the fastest in this division.

Compared to some of the names I've heard mentioned, he is a bit of a shining light :P But he does seem to have a few Micky type qualities, having said that I wouldn't be too disappointed with us getting him. Simply because it would mean that Bassett, Wilko etc. wouldn't have the job :shock:

I still think Gillespie should have got rid, Makin should have done too before that. But if he had just knocked it off their player for our throw or hoofed it Stewart wouldn't have been in the position to make such a rash challenge.

Regardless of whether Makin passed him it or not, he shouldn't have tried to nutmeg their player. Makin was atrocious, the first goal was laughable.
