I'm moving in to a room on Ashgrove Terrace this weekend, a bit expensive but should be alright? Not that I care about that, I used to live in Corduff in Dublin which felt like just a notch above Ballymun.

Aye it's not too bad I think. In that part of Gateshead streets are either full of charvas or Jews, pretty sure you're in with the Jews so should be ok. Woodbine St which is nearby is a good example of a charva filled street
