pretty much the only certain thing to come out of that is that Ollie is off.

    Richard Stearman

wouldnt be surprised to see Mattock go to a decent Premiership side, and be loaned straight back to us for the season. Stearman will go.

    Stoke City

I agree with the comments about no substitutions, to leave it that late was ridiculous, especially with Hayles and Howard being generally ineffective... Feel sorry for a couple of the players, Stearman especially, I'm not his biggest fan but he was immense today.

Stearman probably. He's an excellent prospect but is overrated by many.

    MDV to Dunfirmline?

I really rate O'Grady from what i have seen of him. He holds it up well, rolls defenders and offers good pace. If we can mould him into a clinical finisher then he will definitely be an asset.

    Southampton match thread

Joe has hit the nail on the head. It was a dreadful performance with only Nils and Fryatt putting in reasonable stints. O'Grady was ok when he came on as well. It was frightening how our midfield could not either a) control the ball b) pick out a 5 yard pass. Also get some money on...

    Training ground rumour

I agree with Polar Bear to an extent. I can't help but feel Gerrbrand would turn into a quality player if he worked on his strength and had more time to adjust to England. It's clear he's a talented ball player and thew sort of player we should look to retain if we want to move forwards.

Decent, controlled first half Abysmal first 42 minutes second half Played like Brazil in the last 3 minutes.

    Steve Agnew

Agnew was just a very average player. Steve Thompson was the class in midfield around that time.

    Wesolowski broken his leg again??

As good an effort as your spelling ;) Still just passing on what I've been told, we'll know more on Monday I'm sure. Personally I think it's reasonably serious owing to the fact he collapsed as soon as he tried to get back on, and had to be carried from the pitch at full time. As long as the...

    Wesolowski broken his leg again??

Just had word from my dad. A mate of his on the coach back from the game says Wesolowski texted someone called 'Amy' saying he reckons he may have broken his leg again.

    Player Ratings For Brighton...

Re: Player Rtings For Brighton... Douglas 4 - Disastrous. Awful mistake for the goal, indecisiveness off his line (almost giften 10 man Brighton a last minute equaliser) and his kicking was horrendous Stearman 5 - Pretty poor by his standards. Allowed an average winger in behind him far too...

    QPR Match Thread

Was saying to my Dad, I've no idea how that game had 5 goals. I reckon there were no clear cut chances and maybe 4 other half chances (mainly to us with shots from distance). QPR were the worst opposition I've seen for a long time. I'm still worried that we allow the oppostion to work a...

Douglas 6 - Nothing to do excepte pick the ball out of his net. Despite this I wish he would command his area Stearman 7 - An average display, wasn't great in possession of the ball however was sound defensively. Goal (how did he pop up in the left wing position!) and assist notch up the...

CL reckons that having gone 1-0 up in 7 minutes, that we should have sat back... I'd be interested to see the shot statistics as according to Craig we were clearly far too attacking.

    Player Ratings vs Spurs

Douglas 7 - Did OK, no heartstopping moments fortunately. Stearman 8 - Solid, composed in possesion and got forward well. This lad is becoming a real player, and quickly McCarthy 8 - Again solid and marshalled the defence well. Pleased to see him made captain. Johansson 7 - Considering his...

In that case Joe then surely you play Stearman at right back and Maybury at left back? Even though Maybury has been appalling recently, you wouldn't necessarily want to throw Sheehan in against Aaron Lennon.

His man-management seems pathetic. Gerrbrand thrown out the squad for slipping at Reading, appaling. I think everyone has had enough now, I was a fence sitter for a while but I think he's got to go.
